Arike Ogunbowale
Arike is an American basketball player who is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team in the Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th overall selection during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale, born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997. She is the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Her brothers are Mario (26 an old) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). Ogunbowale was awarded Gold Medals at the 2013 U16 Championships of FIBA Americas in 2014, the FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 World Championships. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for the shots she hit in the NCCA Tournament. Even though she is still just a rookie she has made herself a top basketball player, and she is bound to follow her dream. She also plays soccer and she has also won three State Cup championships for her club Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State cup as a member of FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
