JenniferJennifer has always wanted to be a multi-tasking superstar. While she was a kid Jennifer was fond of a variety of genres of music, mainly Afro-Caribbean songs like merengue salsa and the bachata. Additionally, she loved popular music like hip-hop as well as pop and R&B. While she was a fan of music however, the movie industry attracted her. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was the most influential film for her. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was also an entertainer , as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, attended eight years of Holy Family Catholic Elementary School in The Bronx. After a four-year stay and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer was a star athlete at school and competed in tennis and track and field. The majority of her life was spent growing up in a house with two stories within the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer was forced to leave her house at age was 18 and moved in with her family. Lopez worked as a lawyer at the time while taking up dancing at night.
